Advent: day 2

Today it's day 2 of the advent, so here's my second card.

It's pretty simple, just like the previous one from yesterday and with the same papers.

The papers are all from BoBunny and I just added 3 sequins.

First day of advent!

Hi everyone!

I didn't realise before but it's the first day of the advent. Yes, only about 4 to Christmas.

So I decided it would be fun to post every day something.

Maybe not a whole project and not always Christmas themed, but something!

It should be fun!

Today I'm going to start with a Christmas card I made recently and didn't use for a DT thing or something else.

It's a very small card, it's only 8x8 cm, but I like it so much. I think it's adorable.

I made it with the gorgeous paperpad by BoBunny "Sleigh Ride" and the stamp is by Kaisercraft.

Wave Riders Lisa and Jayden

Hi everyone!

I just adore the images of Hannah Lynn. She is just a great artist!

I was so happy when I saw this new digital stamp.

Meet "Wave Riders Lisa and Jayden" by Crafts And Me.

Aren't they the cutest? I loved to make a card that felt like summer in this cold winter days. 

I was so excited to colour this image.

I gave them colour with my Copic markers, here are the numbers:

Warm Holiday Wishes!

 Today we have a bloghop with some crafters from Belgium. Everyone has her own style and we want to show our talent to the whole world!                      
 

Voor vandaag heb ik deze kaart gemaakt met een stempeltje van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps "Made by Elves". Daar is nu trouwens ook een leuke embossing challenge. Ik heb wat frantage Shabby white gebruikt die mijn absolute favoriet is.

For today I've made a card with this "Made by Elves" stampset by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. There's an embossing challenge, so I used some Shabby white Frantage around the image. It's my favourite colour!

Het papierblokje heb ik laatst meegehad van de Kreadoe te Utrecht en is van de BoBunny "Elf Magic Collection". Ik vond die super goed passen bij de stempel.

It's almost the end of November, are you already done with your Christmascards?

I'm not, but I'll keep working on them!

I really enjoy making Christmascards but I try to switch in different colours. Always the traditional colours are too boring for me.

So here's my bright card featuring the super cute doll Mrs Claus. She baked some chocolate cookies, mmm...

I used purple, turqoise and green as a non traditional colourcombo.

Of course I've coloured her with my Copic markers.

Met Copic Markers kleuren op kraftpapier

Hallo allemaal,

Ik ben nog steeds bezig met mijn kerstkaarten te maken voor dit jaar, ben jij al klaar?

Volgens mij begint het toch wel aardig op te schieten, dat mag ook wel want ik heb slechts nog een maand de tijd om mijn kerstkaarten te bezorgen aan de mensen.

Kerstkaarten mogen absoluut ook heel eenvoudig zijn, zo kan je er ook meer maken.

Deze kaart heb ik heel eenvoudig gehouden. Ik hou ook wel van de clean en simple look, voor mij is dat meer dan voldoende.

Wist je bijvoorbeeld ook dat je naast op wit papier ook op kraftpapier kan kleuren met je Copic Markers?

Zo geef je een geheel andere look aan je kaart.

Dit was nu de eerste keer dat ik het geprobeerd heb en ik vond het super!

Ik heb gekleurd op "Neenah Desert Storm" en het smaakt naar meer!

Deze stempel (Ice, Ice, Baby van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) is gestempeld met Memento Rich Cocoa, die geeft een zachtere uitstraling. Het wit is aangebracht met een potlood. Verder is de techniek hetzelfde.

Dan volgen nu nog de Copic Marker kleuren die ik hiervoor gebruikt heb:

vacht: W7, W5, W3, W1

groen: G28,YG17, YG13, YG11

sjaal: R59, R46, R24

tong: R22

Zo heb je met een beperkt aantal kleuren en een eenvoudig design toch een leuke kaart.

It's HERE! We're so excited because it's FINALLY our NOVEMBER RELEASE DAY at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! We're releasing all the new CLEAR stamp sets we've been previewing all week and we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!!

I've used some old papers by Fancy Pants "Little sport" and coloured this guy on kraftpaper with my Copic Markers. Of course I've used a pencil for the white parts.

I've heat embossed the sentiment with white powder.

 And lastly came that beautiful couple from artist, Annie Rodrigue called LET'S CELEBRATE!

For this card I've used the very beautiful paper of  Graphic 45 "Mon Amour". I love black and red together, it's such a rich combination. I've used frantage around the bottle of champagn to give it the boost it needs ;-)

Krafty peeks: Oh Crop!

It's day 5 of our Kraftin' Kimmie peeks.

Today we present you the new stampset, and one of my personal favourites of this release,

Kimmie attended a special event a couple of months ago called Crop and Create by the Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine! Well, she had this stamp set designed especially for all the croppers that attended the event and they each received a set! They LOVED it and I know you will too!

Here's my card with it. I've stamped some of the kraftythings and coloured them in with Copic Markers and I've used a sentiment to complete it.

Krafty peeks day 4: Happiness is Reading!

Hey everyone!! 

 Welcome back to day FOUR of our NOVEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! All of our brand new CLEAR stamp sets will be released on Saturday night!! Are you excited? Are you coming to the party?? Woohoo!

The totally adorable stamp set that we're previewing today is from artist Cheryl Grant and it's called HAPPINESS IS READING!!! It features our favourite kids, Lulu and Lucas plus their furry friends, settling in for some reading time with a good book! The set also includes five coordinating sentiments!

For my card I've used this little girl Lulu reading her book in the sofa!

Isn't she cute? Check that little cat, just like mine who wants to be with me all the time.

I coloured my card with my Copic Markers. I've paperpieced the sofa and just coloured the outlines with the W markers to create some depth. The papers are an old  pad by My Mind's eye.

I really love orange and pink together.

I've coloured her in with my Copic Markers and I did the background all by myself using some memento ink and I clear embossed it with glitter. I love the shiny look on it.

Tutorial Copic achtergrond kleuren met airbrush effect

Hallo allemaal!

We zijn reeds november en dat wil zeggen dat we de kerstperiode aan het naderen zijn.

Zijn jullie al begonnen aan de kerstkaarten?

Ik in ieder geval wel! Maar wees gerust je hebt nog tijd in overvloed! 

Deze keer heb ik voor jullie een tutorial gemaakt van hoe je een achtergrond kunt kleuren met airbrush effect.

Ik heb helemaal geen airbrush, misschien koop ik wel eentje in de toekomst, maar zo kan het dus ook.

Met enkele blauwe markers heb je genoeg.

Dit is de stempel die ik gekleurd heb "Snowball Fairy" by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps en de achtergrond.

Mijn kaart bestaat uit een eenvoudig design opgefleurd met wat pailletjes. De vleugels, het bustiertje, de sterretjes en haar oogschaduw zijn voorzien van wat glitter, dus de nodige dosis blingbling is er.
