Look WHOO's having a birthday!

Hi everyone!

There's a new challenge at Copic Marker Europe and it's called: Happy birthday.

We all need to make some birthdaycards for someone and I always enjoy making them.

It's heartwarming that you know you'll make someone happy with a fun, bright or positive card on their special day. So let's join the fun!

Here's some inspiration for you. I was on a craftshow with friends and I saw this super cute owl by Whimsy Stamps called "Look Whoo". I loved this little guy with the partyhat on his head and holding a balloon. He's so cute with his big eyes.

I found the right paper in my stash to go with him. After I coloured the stamp, I've added some glossy accents on his eyes and on the balloon.

You're Super!!!

So you know I'm a guest designer at Aliciabel Challenge Blog this month.

Today there's some inspiration on their blog and here's my card I've used for this.

The moment when I saw this Super Girl, I fell in love with it! Isn't she SUPER adorable? I already had the idea in my mind to use them on top of some clouds. I've used my new dies by Lawn Fawn "Puffy Clouds Borders" for this. I really love them.

I coloured the Super girl with some Copic markers and I wanted to give her hair a blue/purple shine.

This time I'm the hostess of the challenge . I made these cards featuring the Buds & Blooms stamp set, one of my favourite's of the last release. I tried a new technique for today with embossing powder and the Fab Foil by Wow!  I just love cards with some foil in and this stampset is great for this technique and many many others.

 It's a very simple card but so much fun to do!

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until March 1st at midnight! Een fruitig kaartje

Hallo allemaal!

Laatst zag ik zo'n schattig stempeltje, een meisje met een grote kers in haar arm. Ik moest meteen denken aan het leuke fruitpapier "Fruit Stand" die ik nog liggen had van Doodlebug. Dit was dus het ideale moment om het papierblokje eens te gebruiken.

Ik heb de kleuren van mijn Copic markers gekozen aan de hand van de kleuren die in het velletje van de kersen voorkomen. Zo kan ik afleiden dat rood en blauw mijn hoofdkleuren worden omdat die daar het meest in voorkomen en groen en wit mijn accentkleuren worden. Zo vormt je kaart een mooier geheel.

De lay-out van de kaart heb ik lekker eenvoudig gehouden. Met de witte Molotow marker heb ik nog een wit accentje aangebracht op de kers en om af te werken deze dan ook met Glossy Accents bewerkt. Ik vind het er alvast uitzien als een snoepje.

De Copic Marker kleuren die ik ervoor heb gebruikt:

haar: E31, E59, E37, E35, E33

rood: E29, R59, R37, R35, R32

Last week I made a trip together with 2 friends to a craft fair.

We had so much fun together and of course I bought a lot of stuff.

I needed to make a card for my mothers nurse who's getting married next week and I saw this adorable set of Lawn Fawn "Happy Wedding".

I really couldn't resist this stampset, it's SO cute!

See!?!

There were already so many idea's in my head when I saw this and I had to buy it! Together with some other Lawn Fawn stuff, but that's for another time ;-)

The images are so simple, so I kept the colouring very simple too.

I used my Copic Markers for them Y17, Y15 and Y11 and for the flower RV17.

I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter brush on the flower for a little sparkle.

The papers are by Pebbles "Be Mine", a valentine collection of this year.

Krafty Hop: Spread happiness wherever you go!

It's finally here!!! The RELEASE of our February 2016 clear stamp sets!!!

For today's card I've used the super adorable set "Hello Spring!" and I made a shakercard with it. I love shakercards, I hope you too! I created a simple scene and filled the shakerpart with some sequins. I coloured the bunny and the balloons with my Copic markers and added some finishing touches of his fur with my Derwent Coloursoft pencils to make him more fluffy.

I added glossy accents on the balloons, that created a beautiful shine.

Final KKS peek day: Buds & Blooms

Hi everyone!

We're back today with our final set of the new release of clear stamps! We've got an absolutely stunning floral set from artist Becky Pearce!

This beautiful stamp set is called "Buds and Blooms!" and has so many gorgeous elements to get creative with plus a bunch of lovely sentiments for a total of FIFTEEN stamps! 

For this card I've used my watercolours of Caran d'arche again. I wanted to make something very colourful and it worked.  I heatembossed the flowers with clear embossingpowder, watercoloured it and cut it out. I added some sequins and added a sentiment with pink glitter embossingpowder.

 I'm happy with the result.

It's also Challenge Day and our hostess is JENNY! The challenge is Anything Goes (as it always is during release week) so create a card, altered item, scrapbook page with any stamp BUT if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp, you'll double your chances to WIN!

Krafty Previews day 3: Look for Rainbows!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to day 3 of our February Krafty Previews!!!

Today we are previewing 2 gorgeous new sets by artist, Annie Rodrigue! I know you'll agree that Annie's creations have so much life and are so much fun to colour!

The first set is called LOOK FOR RAINBOWS! and features the sweet main image plus 4 fabulous coordinating sentiments! I just love umbrellas, don't you?

And the second set is called MAKE A SPLASH! and features the super SASSY main image plus 5 fun coordinating sentiments!

And here's the card I made:

I experienced a little bit with my watercolours. I used some pink, light blue and purple. I let it dry with my heatgun  and when it was dry I added some splatters with my dark blue and a pencil.

I coloured this little beauty with my Copic Markers and added some pink in her hair. 

I adhered her with some foamtape on my card for some dimension. And to finish the card, I've added some clear sequins.

KKS peeks day 2: Ewe Are Amazing!

Hi everyone!!!

Welcome to day 2 of our February Krafty Previews!!!

Today we are sharing previews featuring a joyful new stamp set by artist Emilie Goulet! We just know you WOOL love it! It's called EWE ARE AMAZING!!

The set features two main images of some sweet, fluffy sheep having fun together, plus 5 coordinating sentiments!!!

And here's my card I've made with this adorable stampset. I stamped a little scene, it's perfect if you have some sleeping problems! 

I've coloured the scene with my favourite colour medium, Copic Markers. I've added some twine and a small part of designpaper of the new paperpad "Spring" by Echo Park. I bought two of them, just to make sure I have enough of them so I can use them! Ahaha :-)

KKS previews: Hello Spring!

Hi everyone!

Today it's day 1 of our February Krafty Previews!!!

Everyone who knows me, knows I don't like the cold or snow. I just love SPRING!!!

Woohoo! And that's the theme for this month's release !

Today we are kicking things off with a sweet little set by artist, Becky Pearce called.....what else.....HELLO SPRING!

There are so many sweet little images that you can put together and mix and match! Plus three coordinating sentiments for a total of 18 fun stamps!

I really love those cute and simple images a lot, they are perfect for people who are a beginner with colouring! 

I stamped this sweet hedgehog and some bubbles with Memento Black Tuxedo and coloured it with my Copic Markers. I created a scene by colouring some clouds, sky and grass. The bubbles are coloured in purple, blue and aqua and I added some glossy accents for the shine.
