Krafty peeks day 4 + challenge!!

Hi Krafty peeps!

Welcome back to Day FOUR of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May previews!!! We are back with three more of our sassy BEACHY GIRLS for you today! Just wait 'til ya see!

We've also got a new challenge for you today! Lots of fun stuff happenin' at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge blog!!

This will also be the last set of stamps from Annie for a little while as she's taking a bit of a hiatus from stamp art at the moment. And as she's taking some time off, we are THRILLED to finally be able to share a BIG SECRET with you!!! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is super excited to tell you that we will be introducing TWO new artists to the KKS family next month!!! We're not going to tell you who they are just yet.....but you may recognize their style.... and their names!!! Teehee!!!

Bedankt alvast voor jullie reacties telkens weer!
Volgende week donderdag vertrekken ik en mijn vriendje voor 3 daagjes naar Amsterdam.
Ik heb al zoveel gezocht naar hobbywinkels in Amsterdam via google, maar het enige dat ik vind zijn eerder hobbywinkels voor vilten/ breien/ haken,...
Iemand een adresje voor mij???
Het mag echt alleen maar binnen Amsterdam zijn doordat wij met de trein naar daar gaan.
Dus een auto hebben we niet om effen wat verderweg te rijden.

Ik hoop dat er iemand een leuk adresje weet.
Bij voorbaat heel erg bedankt!

Moederdag

Hallo iedereen,

Iedere mama een fijn moederdag gehad? Ik hoop alvast van wel.
Om mijn mama een plezier te doen, heb ik een lekker geurend cadeautje gaan halen met een zelfgemaakte kaart. Ze was er zo blij mee dat ze moest huilen. Ik heb zo'n lieve mama!
Het is wel een slechte fotokwaliteit, maar aangezien ik hem al heb weggegeven kan ik hem natuurlijk niet opnieuw doen...

Volgens mij past die ook in de challenge van Saturated Canary: Is precies ook zo'n groen/blauw als in op de foto.

Papier is van My Mind's eye en de digi is van Saturated Canary (Zella) Wel een heel groot kleurwerk.
De trinketstempel is van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Morgen doe ik een rondje hier op blogger en dan overmorgen beginnen we met de Krafty Peeks van Kraftin' Kimmie en ze zijn echt SUPER leuk!!!!

This is my first post as a Krafty Girl! Jeeeej, I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful team!
So today it's time for another challenge at  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
Our hostess today is the lovely Sharon and her challenge is: It's a banner day - use a banner or bannershape on your creation!

Workshop + nieuws!!!

Hallo iedereen,

Dit weekend heb ik een workshop gegeven bij Tiny's hobby in Kortrijk, een kaartje maken en een stempel van Kraftin' Kimmie inkleuren met copic markers
Het was echt heel leuk, we hebben veel gepraat en gelachen, maar natuurlijk ook allemaal goed doorgedaan!
Ik ben echt trots met wat zij allemaal hebben gemaakt. Heel leuk om te zien dat ze allemaal uniek zijn!

Zij mochten dus dit kaartje maken, met een Kraftin' Kimmie stempel naar keuze!!

Dan heb ik nog nieuws!
Zoals jullie misschien wel al weten, ben ik iets minder actief op mijn blog. Heb deze week weinig tijd ook gehad om jullie blog te bezoeken, ik haal dit snel weer in hoor! ;-)
Tijdens de maand maart had ik dus de eer om gastdesigner te zijn bij Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Ik vond dat een héél leuke periode en tot mijn verbazing heeft Kimmie me gevraagd om te blijven!
Jeeeeej!!!!
Dus vanaf zaterdag zal ik er weer volle bak voor gaan, nu nog bezig met heel veel voorbereidingen!

Voor de Nederlandse mensen: geniet morgen van jullie zeer speciale koninginnendag!

Snel beter worden!

Hallo iedereen,

Het is hier relatief stil op mijn blog, maar ik ben heus nog wel bezig met dingen hoor ;-)
Alleen, worden die iets later getoond.

Vandaag een kaartje die ik eigenlijk vorige week heb gemaakt.
Een eenvoudig beterschapskaartje.
Ik had bij het opruimen mijn houten stempels teruggevonden van DC.
Deze had ik gekocht op de beurs, maar nog nooit iets mee gedaan.

Wat ik heel erg vervelend vind, mijn stempel staat iets schuin tegenover het houten blok. Ik heb het niet over de tekststempel, maar dus wel over die "bloemen"stempel in het roze.
Dus ik denk dat ik recht stempel, maar eigenlijk staat het dan schuin op mijn papier!!!
Oh, ik heb dan wel even gevloekt hoor. Jammer als je dan iets in je hoofd hebt, en het lukt niet.
Dan begonnen met te denken, hier moet ik een paar mm hoger dan de andere kant...
Maar helaas, niets hielp... Toevallig iemand die dit ook heeft voorgehad? Of ben ik de enige met een scheve stempel?
Dan heb ik maar beslist om het volledig scheef te gebruiken.

Het is een combinatie geworden van bruin en roze, zowel de cardstock als de inkt.

Voila, ik ga nu weer verder doen aan mijn volgend kaartje ;-)

Hallo iedereen,

Vandaag heb ik een kaart gemaakt op bestelling. Mijn schoonbroer zijn nichtje wordt zaterdag 18 jaar.
En dat wordt natuurlijk gevierd!

Ik heb bij deze eens een Saturated Canary gebruikt (Rose red). Ik had er nog nooit iets mee gedaan en das zonde! Het zijn zo'n leuke digi's!

Papier is van Kaisercraft: Lil' Primrose. Vond het wel leuk bij elkaar passen.
Bij deze doe ik ook graag mee aan de challenge bij Saturated Canary: pastels!
Het is op het laatste nippertje...

CAS

Hallo iedereen!

Vandaag een kaartje die jullie niet van mij gewend zijn.
Ik had een maand geleden zo'n leuke stempeltjes gekocht op de beurs bij de stand van Elke.
Zij maakt zo'n mooie eenvoudige kaarten! Dat is gewoon een kunst, want eenvoud is soms zo moeilijk!
Ik heb me er toch eens aan gewaagd, zonde om de stempeltjes te laten liggen.

De kooi en de vogeltjes zijn uit een stempelset van Artemio. Bekje is gekleurd met een copic marker, maar dat is niet zo goed zichtbaar op de foto.
Dan enkel nog wat restjes scrappapier en een knoopje.

Ik zou graag meedoen met de CAS on Sunday challenge, met als thema: thank you!
Vandaag was het echt een CAS sunday, nu aan iets anders beginnen.

Baby: Iris

Hallo iedereen!!

Zaterdagavond kwam ik thuis van het werk en mijn vriend moest me nog iets vertellen.
Zijn zus was bevallen van een flinke dochter: Iris!
Zelf vind ik het ook eigenlijk wel een mooie naam.
We konden natuurlijk niet wachten om naar het kindje te kijken.
Helaas had ik eerder gegokt op een jongentje en was het kaartje voor een meisje nog niet klaar...
Weer typisch ik!!!
Zondag (pasen) zijn we dan op familiebezoek geweest en daarna heb ik doorgewerkt tot 2u15 's nachts aan het kaartje.

Saturday night I came home from work and my boyfriend had to tell me something.
His sister had given birth to a great daughter: Iris!
Personally I find it a really beautiful name.
We could not wait to see the baby!
Unfortunately I had already gambled on a boy and had the card for a girl was not ready.

Tipical me!
Sunday (Easter) we were on a family visit and then I continued until 2:15 at night on the card.

Op maandag hebben we het dan eindelijk kunnen afgeven! En het toeval is: Iris is een blondje :-)
Het papier is van My Mind's Eye Collectable "Memorable" en de stempel is natuurlijk een Saturated Canary.
Ik vind het zo een schatje!
