Colour challenge at KKS

Hallo iedereen,

Fieuw, ik ben blij dat ik eindelijk een keer een rustige week gehad heb. Vorige week ging mijn collega'tje trouwen op zaterdag. In die week moest ik zeer veel werken en dan nog eens kaarten maken, haar en haar moeder voorzien van make-up (die ook al eens getest moest worden) en de bruid nog voorzien van kunstnagels. Ik kan je verzekeren, het waren korte nachten.  En het feest was echt super!

Deze week bij Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is het een kleuren challenge. Je kan 1 of meerdere kleuren kiezen en combineren.. En dat zijn toevallig wel kleuren die heel veel voorkomen in paperpads.

Velen onder jullie weten intussen al dat ik gek ben op uiltjes, dus daarom maar nog eens deze uil gekozen van de "From you know whooo!" set, het papier is van MME
Ik vind het echt een schatje. Op de tak waar normaal de bloemen getekend stonden heb ik er gewoon parelmoerbloemen opgekleefd met een pareltje in het midden.

Bij Kraftin' Kimmie zijn wij op zoek naar 3 gast designers voor de maand augustus!!
Lijkt het jou wel iets, lees hieronder dan verder!

 **You will have until Sunday, June 23rd at midnight to submit {here on this post} as many times as you like!!

**You must use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp on your creation and you also must include some sort of SPARKLE on your design!

**The Krafty Girls will help me choose the TOP TEN Submissions and they will be announced and they'll each receive a little package of Kraftin' Kimmie goodies!  Then those top ten will have one week to compete one more time in a challenge to be announced!

**There will be THREE TOP KRAFTERS chosen from the ten and they will win a Krafty Guest Spot for the month of AUGUST!!  They will each receive over $75 in Krafty rubbah, get to hang out with the Krafty Girls for the month and receive a Krafty discount for any purchases made during their guest spot in August!

Swapkaart

Hallo iedereen,

Deze week wordt het druk op mijn blog, iedere dag een blogpost. Dat wordt doorwerken ;-)

Enkele weken geleden vroeg Mariska of ik zin had om met haar eens te swappen. Natuurlijk vond ik dat een geweldig idee. Ik heb voor haar geprobeerd om een leuk envelopje samen te stellen en ik heb een prachtig envelopje terug gekregen! Het papier en de afdrukjes waren zo mooi, ik kon bijna niet wachten om ermee te beginnen!

Ik vind het eens iets anders geworden dan ik anders maak, ondertussen heb ik een nieuwe liefde gevonden:  Sweet Pea stempels, waarvan dit trouwens ook zo eentje is!
Ze zijn echt super leuk om in te kleuren, al heeft het toch wel enkele uren in beslag genomen!

De ogen en lippen heb ik nog bewerkt met Glossy accents, evenals de belletjes.
Het zeepaardje heeft dan weer een laagje stickles gekregen.

Als jullie even hard benieuwd zijn, naar wat Mariska met de spulletjes gemaakt heeft die ik opgestuurd heb, klik dan hier!

update Amsterdam + eenvoudig cadeaudoosje

Hallo iedereen,

Mijn 2 weken verlof zijn helaas voorbij, deze week weer de harde realiteit: werken!
Ik vond het zo leuk om even thuis te zijn en eens te doen waar ik zin in had.
Tussendoor nog een kleine citytrip naar Amsterdam. Pfff, wat is dat een hele rit met de trein en zoveel moeten overstappen.

mijn koffertje in het station, mss wel niet toepasselijk voor  Amsterdam ;-)

Op donderdagochtend moesten we de trein halen om 8u45. Om 8u20 zijn we toegekomen op de stationsparking, nergens geen plaats meer!! Mijn vriend heeft dan de auto ergens anders gaan parkeren, terwijl ik ging aanschuiven aan het loket voor buitenlands verkeer. Mijn vriend rijdt gratis met de trein doordat hij treinbestuurder is.
Voor mij een heel gedoe met een meneer, ik heb 20 minuten staan wachten (en ik stond behoorlijk te trappelen op mijn tenen) en de dame van een nabijgelegen loket vertelde dat ik naar daar mocht komen.
Ondertussen was mijn vriend daar ook al met de koffer, maar de trein was weg!!


Uiteindelijk zijn we dan om 15u15 toegekomen in Amsterdam.

Het was ijskoud en ik had enkel mijn zomervestje mee (ik was ondertussen al in het bezig van een flinke verkoudheid). Dan maar 2 sjaals aangedaan.
We hebben ons enorm geamuseerd! Hele leuke stad, echt levendig. Vooral het Anne Frankhuis zal mij enorm bijblijven, ik vond het zeer emotioneel!
Wat mij ook opviel in Amsterdam, het is zeer grote stad en ik had nog nooit gezien dat mensen vuilbakken doorzoeken om eten te vinden. Nog nooit! En zeggen voor een groot pizzastuk het slechts 3 euro was!

Lekker eten en drinken was er in overvloed, al moest je voor een lekker restaurantje wel even zoeken! En die waren dan nog peperduur.

Helaas geen enkel hobbywinkeltje tegen gekomen. Jammer :-(

Er was wel een Pipoos, maar die lag aan de andere kant, dus zijn we er niet naartoe geweest.

Ik ben tot de conclusie gekomen dat Amsterdam de mooiste stad is, die ik ooit al gezien heb.

Prachtig met al dat water!!!

Tot zover mijn Amsterdam- update.

Zondag was het babyborrel van Iris, het nichtje van mijn vriend.

Ik had bij de geboorte al een kaartje gemaakt, deze keer heb ik gewoon een eenvoudig doosje gemaakt met een klein bijpassend kaartje om het geld bij te steken. Heel simpel. Ik denk dat het doosje 8x8cm was, het kaartje 7x7cm.

Zo, nog een fijne avond voor jullie allemaal!
