Skin challenge!

Hi everyone!

There's a skin challenge at Copic marker Europe and here's my card that I made for it.

I used the digital stamp "Double Eyelashes" by The East Wind. You can see there's a lot of skin on this image. I really enjoy colouring skin. My tip for you is try to keep your nibs clean and refill your markers often. You will see the skin colours are blending very smooth.

Here are the colours I've used:
skin: E13, E11, E00, E000
hair: E59, E37, E35, E33, E31
eyeshadow: E79, E77, E74, E71
red: R59, R46, R24, R22
pink: RV17, RV55, RV52
green: G28, G24, G21

Hi everyone!

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

I made this card with my favorite stampset of the last release "Happy Owl-oween!".

The owls in the set are so cute!

I watercoloured the background and added some dots with my Sharpie pen and some dots by my pencils in 2 shades of purple and 1 dark blue.

I coloured the owl with my Copic markes  and I used some sequins by Neat and Tangled "Mermaid Tail Sequin Mix".

Trouwen en afscheid van het Colourstock blog

Hallo allemaal!

Helaas is dit mijn allerlaatste blogpost voor het team Colourstock, er worden hervormingen van het team doorgevoerd, waardoor het team moet afslanken.

Ik heb de voorbije 2 jaar veel plezier gehad. Helaas komt er aan ieder mooi liedje ook een eind.

Voor iedere deur die gesloten wordt, opent er zich een nieuwe. Ik heb ook nog heel goed nieuws, maar dat kan ik jammer genoeg nog niet verklappen! Zo spannend!!!

Om in schoonheid te kunnen eindigen met Colourstock, heb ik deze keer een trouwkaart gemaakt. Een bevriend koppel gaat binnenkort in het huwelijksbootje stappen, dus moet er natuurlijk ook een gepaste kaart gemaakt worden.

Deze keer heb ik gekozen voor een digitale stempel van Tiddly Inks "Wedding Bells", ik vind die zo romantisch! De lay-out van de kaart heb ik heel eenvoudig gehouden om de gekleurde afbeelding meer te laten spreken.

De kleuren die ik hiervoor gebruikt heb:

huid: E13, E11, E00, E000, V25, V22, V20

haar bruid: E41, E43, E47, E49

haar bruidegom: E31, E33, E35, E37, E59

jurk: BV23, BV20, C1

goud:  E37, E35, YR23, Y17, Y21

De sluier heb ik afgewerkt met enkele witte stippen en vegen Molotow Acrylic marker, dit kan echt het verschil maken.

Krafty release bloghop: Valentina Vampire!!

Hi everyone!

Today we have a bloghop to celebrate the new releasee at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

All the new stamps are in the shop.

 For today I've made a card featuring Valentina Vampire, this is one of my faves from this release.

She's so much fun to colour!! 

I gave Valentine Vampire special eyes, a bit like a snake.

I wanted to create a  skintone that was a little bit grey, so I decided to shade with my V markers. Her skin doesn't look healthy.

Krafty peeks day 4: Happy Owl-oween!!

Hi Krafty friends!

Welcome back to our 4th and final day of August Krafty Peeks! It's almost time to release ALL the new SPOOK-tacular stamp sets that you've been seeing all week!

We have TWO adorable new sets to share with you today from artist, Becky Pearce! These sets can be used on their own or in combination with each other or even other Halloweenie type sets!!

First is this sweet set of feathered friends called

HAPPY OWL-OWEEN!

Next up is a fun set of GOURD-GEOUS images and friends called HARVEST BLESSINGS!

It's also challenge day and our hostess is Krafty Girl Tangii! And as always during release week, the challenge is ANYTHING GOES! 

For todays card I've used the two new stampsets. I think the owls are so cute!!!

I made the background with my distress inks, water and some splatters of Copic Opaque White. I embossed the sentiment with fine white embossingspowder by WOW!

I made a shakercard with the cute critters. The sequinmix is a present I got from Ellen H and I could use it right away. Thanks a lot, Ellen! The papers is by Doodlebug "October 31st".

Krafty peeks day 1: Vanessa!

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited!!! If you are a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps fan, you'll know that AUGUST is always our HALLOWEEN release and it's probably our most popular release of the YEAR!!!

If you're new to KKS, you're in for a fabulous TREAT!!

Welcome to a week of SPOOK-TACULAR designs featuring our NEW August Release stamp sets!!!

We have absolutely incredible creations ready to share with you, 

so welcome to Day ONE of our August Peeks!!!

The Krafty Girls are kickin' things off with a couple of 

FANG-TASTIC sets from artist Annie Rodrigue!

I'm sure you'll agree that these two ghoulfriends are bloody amazing!!

They are called VALENTINA and VANESSA VAMPIRE!

Each set comes with a stunning new vampire image plus 5 or 6 coordinating sentiments!!

And here's my card featuring Vanessa.

First I sponged a yellow spot on the watercolour paper by Crafter's Companion. After that I die cutted a post it sticky note with a circle and paste it down on the "moon". Then I sponged the background with black, purple, blue and grey Distress Inks. I removed the sticky note and added some "clouds" using grey Distress Ink and a small sponge douber. I sprinkled some water over it and depped it off with some kitchenpaper. The stars I added using Copic Opaque White. 

I have a die with a few bats on it and I used it on an piece of acetate, so I created my own stencil for the black bats. 

I coloured the vampire with my Copic markers, here are the colours:

skin: E11, E00, E000

red: BV29, R59, R46, R24

hair: BV29, BV25,  BV23, BV20 + some Derwent Coloursoft pencils.

corset: BV08, BV04, BV02

blouse: C3, C1, C0

trousers: C5, C3, C1, C0

It's saturday, so there's a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and it is "birthday cards".

So here's a birthdaycard I made featuring the stampset "Witch Willa".

And she is back in stock, together with all the other amazing new sets that were sold out!!!

 I've used some papers by Simple Stories "Happiness".

The die I've used is by My Favorite Things "Stitched Mini Scallop Rect 5" and the stars are a die by Nellie Snellen "5 point star"

I stamped the with with Memento Desert Sand and I've coloured the image with my Copic markers, here are the colours:

Hallo allemaal!

Onlangs was ik aan het on-line shoppen en toen zag ik dit fantastisch stempelsetje voorbij komen. Het is van Neat & Tangled en het heet "Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee". Het zijn zo'n schattige figuurtjes en ik vond deze ideaal voor babykaartjes. De spandoek die ze vasthebben is blanco en dan kan je zelf kiezen wat voor tekst je erin plaatst. Wat is er nu mooier om te verwelkomen dan een baby? 

Onlangs is een ex-collega van mij bevallen van een mooie dochter, Fenna. Dus dit kaartje gaat naar haar. Ik dacht dat ideaal zou zijn om een schudkaartje van te maken. Het schudcompartiment is opgevuld met doorzichtige platte en gewone roze pailletjes. 

Deze keer wou ik ook mijn schaduwen opbouwen met paarse tinten, ik zal dit vaker doen want ik ben best tevreden over het resultaat. Vooral in combinatie met huidskleur vind ik het super.
