Celebrating Friendships with a hot cuppa!

One of my favourite past times with friends is sitting around having a cuppa and chatting. It’s hard to beat face to face interaction with a friend. You can read each other’s body language, laugh out loud and easily get stuck for hours drinking way too much coffee.

Sadly, many of my bestest friends live so far away from me that I don’t get the opportunity to sit across the table and laugh over a cuppa so instead I do what I do best and make them cards that will brighten their day.

This month we are inspiring you with some gorgeous images illustrated by Krista Smith and a whole range of new chipboard designs relating to Friends, Coffee & Tea!

Here's my card that I've made with two of the new Best Friends digi stamp and the new You're My Besty outline sentiment chipboard. I've embossed the chipboard in silver and it looks not that good on a picture but in real life, it's so pretty.

Happy birthday little monster!

 Hi everyone!

MiC gal Deborah here today with some inspiration for our challenge for adding some details with a black pen. Well, I failed… Sorry! I didn’t understand the challenge completely and did something else. Oops! Instead of adding texture with a black pen, I drew extra things to the image. Like the green monster, I drew some eyes on them instead of 3 circles as eyes and added brows. To the orange monster I drew a tongue out of his mouth. And for the yellow monster I’ve added a bow, brows and lashes to his eyes.

So if you’re interested, here are the colours I’ve used:

• Yellow: Y00, 11, 15, 17
• green: G28, YG17, 13, 11
• orange: YR07, 04, 02, 00, E08
• blue: B26, 24, 21

Welcome to Day TWO of our February Krafty Peeks

We've got another 'precious' stamp set to share with you today!(Are you starting to see the theme? haha)

Today's set is from artist, Cheryl Grant!

It's called WELCOME TO THE WORLD!

This adorable set features three large images plus several lovely sentiments in a beautiful font! These are perfect for the baby cards, invitations, scrapbook pages, tags, bags and so much more! Plus we've included an adoption sentiment!

I coloured the image using my Copic markers, I tried to keep the boy and the blue around him really soft.

I sponged the background using Distress Ink and my  Radiating Rays stencil by MFT. All the dies are by MFT too. I also added baby boy chipboard by Make it Crafty. I'm hooked with them!

Welcome to Day ONE of our February release of 2018

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we're kickin' off the party....or should I say shower....

with a sweet new set from our fabulous artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

You'll notice there is a theme this month and it's all about BABIES!! So we're having a shower instead of a party! Aren't I funny? ;)

This versatile set is called BABY LOVE!

This gorgeous set comes with lots of large images, smaller accessory stamps, scenery stamps and awesome words & sentiments!! You'll be able to design shower invitations, birth announcements and baby cards not to mention gift tags, bags and boxes and amazing scrapbook pages! Think of the possibilities!

I've designed 4 cards with the same layout in 2 different colours with 2 different images. How cute are they?

This cute elephant is my favorite image of this whole stampset, I think he is so adorable! I've used Glossy accents to add some details to the hearts and a white gelpen on his eyes to let sparkling his eyes.

On this image I used a white gelpen to add some dots and used the Wink of Stella clear brush to give some sparkle. I did it on the pink and blue one.

Movie inspired challenge!!!

Welcome to another fabulous Krafty Challenge!

We often do super easy themes and ideas each week because we want everyone to play along!  But this week we've decided to really CHALLENGE you....because of course, that's the idea!

This week our theme is MOVIE INSPIRED!

Krafty girl Deborah here, I'm this weeks hostess. I don't know how about you but I get inspired during watching movies. Lately I saw the animation movie "Gnomeo and Juliet" and I thought about the movie while making this card. It's such a fun movie with the blue and the red gnomes. The stampset "Whimsical Gnomes" are perfect for this card. I hope you'll have fun with the challenge!

Use any one of our stamps to tie into any movie or tv show for your creation!  How fun is that??

Create a card, scrapbook page, altered item etc. with a movie/tv theme and submit your design for your chance to WIN!  You have until Friday, February 9th to enter this challenge!  Keep in mind, all entries are welcome but you must use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp in order to win.
