Colourstock: You Color My World!

Hallo iedereen!

Huid:

 Haar/ kousen:

 Haarband, broekje en topje:

Schilderspalet en borstelsteel:

Ogen/ kleur op het palet:

Lippen:

Groen op het palet:

Rood op palet/borstel:

Geel op palet:

Dit was het dan voor mij!
Tot de volgende!

Wonderful Wednesday: Boo!

Hi everyone!

Today it's time for another Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and as always it's "anything goes"! So get krafty and create something with your stamps!

This is the card I made for a little inspiration:
Less than 1 month and it's Halloween! So I had to create one more card for that holiday.
I really love making them.

I've made this card with the pumpkins with my Silhouette Cameo with a cutfile from the Silhouette shop. The image is made by Thais for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps "Candy Corn Kisses!"
The paperpad is "Chillingsworth Manor" by Echo Park

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until September 30th at midnight! At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!!! What do you think.....wanna WIN?? Let's see your krafty stuff!!

Are you going to play with us???

And I saw some happy news, this card with  was chosen in the top 3 at Colouring Crazy Challengeblog!
Yaaaay, so happy with it!

Thank you for stopping by!

Tutorial: colouring wood!

Hi everyone!

Today it's me, Deborah, and I have a tutorial for you!
This time I wanted to show you how I colour wood with a little structure.

This is a funny image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I wanted to give that cute little girl a wooden chair to sit on.

The first thing to do, is colouring the entire chair with E31 (the lightest colour for wood)

When you've done the whole chair, you have to flick (tiny little stripes) with your E37 where the darkest parts have to be. Just like you colour hair.

After that, you have to flick with your E35 over the previous flickings for a little blending. Leave enough space between the flicks, you still have to see the E31 peeking through.

Now you need to blend the lines with your E33 marker by flicking again over the previous parts.

Now it's almost ready but we need a little more depth in the wood.
And you can do that with your E59 marker by just flicking where there have to be shadows.
Now the chair really pops.

I hope you had something on this tutorial. If you have questions, please let me know I'll answer them!

Here's my card I've made with this cutie:

Copic colours:
skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, R22, 20
hair: E29, 25, 23, 1
red: R59, 37, 35, 22
blue: N7, B29, 26, 24, 32
green: W7, G28, YG67, 63, 61
yellow: W3, 1, Y17, 15, 11
eyes: YG17, 13, 11

Krafty tip: white acrylic paint marker

Hi everyone!

Today it's my turn again to show you a little tip.
Did you already heard of an acrylic paint marker?
You can use it in so many ways! Krafty girl Tracy Valure already teached us how to do a stippled background, but now I wanted to show you how you can use it on  your coloured project. It's so easy and you get a totally different look!

I've used a Molotow marker (signal white) but you can also use the sharpie white poster paint pen that's in the shop right now!

Here's my finished coloured stamp featuring our new sassy zombies stampset "Trick or eat!"

I could put her right on a card but I want to give her some highlights!
The point of this acrylic marker is 1.5 mm and that's perfect for that!

You can create highlights on her cheecks, like I did, or on her hair (really cute with mermaids!)
Or you can create a pattern on an object, that's what I did with this inflatable duck.
You just have to shake the pen before you start and than you have to make a little dot by pump the point softly down. It dries really fast and you can use it on almost all surfaces!

Now you have a totally different look on your image!
Hope you'll try this out and don't forget to share your project with us!

Happy kraftin'

Deborah
