Hi everyone!

Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you wanna....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!

I've made this tag to hang on a present for a babyboy. The babystampset is called Baby Love and I love it so much. It's my favorite! I've embossed the image and text with some white embossingpowder and coloured it with my Derwent Procolour pencils. I used a sharpie pen for the stitched pattern on the edge. I'm very happy with the result.

You have all month long to play AND you can enter as many times as you like! Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five entries, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

You have until Tuesday, April 24th at midnight EST!

Also be sure to share your creations on the Krafty Friends facebook page because we LOVE to see your stuff!

Happy Kraftin'!

Baby girl tag

Hi everyone!

Today I want to show you a tag for a present I made for a babygirl. It’s so much fun to create something to hang on your presents too. People are really appreciate it! I like the colourcombo pink with a yellow accent.

I’ve used the Adapt-a-Word chipboard set for the text and added some clear stickles on the baby word and the horse is from the Baby Shadow Box Collection and added some stickles too! The background is sponged with some Distress Ink Oxide. It was so much fun to play with all these things!

Thanks for stopping by, Deborah

Create sweet moments!

Hi everyone!

Did you see the challenge of this month? It’s to colour a spring sky. And for this card here I’ve coloured a bright blue sky with some puffy white clouds. The card I’ve created could be in a book. It’s a bit of a fantasy world. Who doesn’t dream to live in a cake house?

• sky: B02, B00, B000
• clouds: C0, C1, C3
• brown: E59, E37, E35, E33, E31
• orange: YR07, YR04, YR02, YR00

New baby!

Hi everyone!

Today there's a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and it's called "Something New".

It can be a new stamp, a new product or tool you want to use or have a 'new' theme to it! And it can be a card, a scrapbook page, a tag, a gift, an altered item....whatever you like!

So I made an adorable babycard!

The text are from the stampset "Wild World" and the dino's are from our latest release Dino-mite Pals. Aren't they adorable?

Here are the Copic colours I've used for them:

BG78, 75, 72, 70

G28,  YG17, 13, 11

V28, V25, V22, V20

C3, 1

And also a white sharpie pen on the eggshell.

The paper is from a plaidpad from LawnFawn and the diecut is by MFT Stitched Dome Stax.

I hope you'll find some time to play along!

Celebrating Friendships

Celebrating Friendships with a hot cuppa!

One of my favourite past times with friends is sitting around having a cuppa and chatting. It’s hard to beat face to face interaction with a friend. You can read each other’s body language, laugh out loud and easily get stuck for hours drinking way too much coffee.

Sadly, many of my bestest friends live so far away from me that I don’t get the opportunity to sit across the table and laugh over a cuppa so instead I do what I do best and make them cards that will brighten their day.

This month we are inspiring you with some gorgeous images illustrated by Krista Smith and a whole range of new chipboard designs relating to Friends, Coffee & Tea!

Please join us on the hop and be inspired for a chance to win one of two Chipboard sets featuring the new friendship cursive sentiment designs. Simply leave a comment on each blog along the way as I will be picking a winner from two random posts. Winners will be announced and contacted Sunday 25th so get your hopping boots on!

Here's my card that I've made with two of the new Best Friends digi stamp and the new You're My Besty outline sentiment chipboard. I've embossed the chipboard in silver and it looks not that good on a picture but in real life, it's so pretty.

I've coloured this beautiful girls with my Copic markers.

here are the colours I've used:

skin: E04, E13, E11, E00, E000, E93, E95

hair: E29, E25, E23, E21/ E59, E37, E35, E31

green: G28, G46, G43, G40

black: 100, N9, N7, N5

purple: BV08, BV04, BV02, BV00

turqoise: BG18, BG13, BG11, BG10

lips: E04, RV34, E93, E95

Here is a list of the blog hop in case you get lost along the way. Don’t forget to leave a comment on each blog for 10 chances to win!

Happy birthday little monster!

 Hi everyone!

MiC gal Deborah here today with some inspiration for our challenge for adding some details with a black pen. Well, I failed… Sorry! I didn’t understand the challenge completely and did something else. Oops! Instead of adding texture with a black pen, I drew extra things to the image. Like the green monster, I drew some eyes on them instead of 3 circles as eyes and added brows. To the orange monster I drew a tongue out of his mouth. And for the yellow monster I’ve added a bow, brows and lashes to his eyes.

So if you’re interested, here are the colours I’ve used:

• Yellow: Y00, 11, 15, 17
• green: G28, YG17, 13, 11
• orange: YR07, 04, 02, 00, E08
• blue: B26, 24, 21
• grey: W7, 5, 3, 1
• red: E29, R46, R24, R22
• pink: RV69,17,  55, 51

Make it Crafty products used:

• Hairy Monster
• Henry tail twirl
• Puff Monster
• Birthday word chipboard

Thank you for stopping by, Deborah
