Pregnant!

Hi everyone!

A few weeks ago my niece told me that she was pregnant, I was very surprised! And I was even more surprised that she was already pregnant for 6 months and that she didn't noticed that before. I think that's crazy but I'm so happy for her!!

I've created a card with the adorable "Geeky Love Pregnant" digital stamp by Make It Crafty. I cropped the image and only used the upper part.

Special occasion: Wedding!!!

Hi everyone!

Today there's a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and the theme is "Special occasion".

There are a few friends of ours who's getting married in august and I needed to make a card for them.

I could make a regular wedding scene but I thought, wouldn't it be fun to have a wedding at the BEACH?! It's giving just that little extra to the card.

So I used "Let's celebrate" (and it's on sale for just this weekend, grab it now if you want it!!!) and "At the beach". Isn't this a perfect combination? I think it's so romantic!

The bride has red hair and the groom dark brown, so I coloured the stamps the same way. For the champagne bottle I've heat embossed the sparkle that comes out of it with some golden and white frantage. I don't know a right word for it, sorry ;-) I've added some glitter with my Wink Of Stella clear on her dress, bow and on his pants. Maybe it's looking a bit gay for him but whatever, it's fun!

And I also embossed the sentiment with golden embossingpowder. I've matted my coloured image on a piece of golden foilpaper.

Krafty Scrappy challenge: babyboy!

Hi everyone!

For this challenge you can create ANYthing your little heart desires as long as it's NOT a card!!!  I made a little present box that I filled with some money for a babyboy, called Ruben.

I think Becky's "Hello spring" set is great to make babycards too. It's so adorable!

I've coloured the gorgeous stamp with my Copic markers in the colours of the designpaper.

I've used some papers by We R Memory keepers "Little One".

The oval scalloped die is by MFT and the round one is by Marianne Design.

I've added the baby's name in wood.

Favoriete haarkleur combinatie

Hallo allemaal!

Hebben jullie ook een favoriet onderdeel dat jullie het liefste kleuren? Bij mij is dat het haar!

Ik vind het zo ontspannend en je kan er zoveel mee experimenteren. 

Er zijn zoveel verschillende kleurcombinaties die je kan maken. Je kan het naturel houden of eens lekker gek doen met bijvoorbeeld paars. The sky is the limit! ;-)

Vandaag laat ik jullie zien hoe ik het haar gekleurd heb van deze prachtige digi van The East Wind "Aurora Daisy" met Copic Markers. De kleuren voor het haar zijn ook meteen mijn favoriete haarkleur combinatie.

Als eerste heb ik haar huid en gezicht helemaal ingekleurd en het haar volledig voorzien van een grondlaag YR20.

Daarna heb ik met E35 de donkerste delen van het haar ingekleurd met een flick beweging van buiten naar elkaar toe.

 Vervolgens heb ik met YR23 de flicks doorgetrokken  maar toch nog voldoende ruimte over gelaten voor het lichtste gedeelte van het haar.

Dan heb ik met marker Y21 en YR20 de highlight in het haar gekleurd met alweer dezelfde techniek. Let erop dat je niet alles gewoon dicht kleurt zodat de structuur van het haar niet verloren gaat.

 Wat Copic Markers zo leuk maakt is dat je altijd nog een extra laagje erbovenop kan doen waardoor de kleurintensiteit veel hoger ligt. Dat heb ik hier ook gedaan met E35 en op de delen die het minste zonlicht vangen heb ik nog wat E37 toegevoegd. 

Tenslotte heb ik met de lichtere kleuren ook nog eens hetzelfde gedaan en toen was ik uiteindelijk tevreden met het resultaat. 

De rest heb ik dan ook ingekleurd, hier volgen alle gebruikte combinaties:

huid: E04, E13, E11, E00, E000

haar: YR20, E37, E35, YR23, Y21, YR20

ogen: E35, E37, YG17, YG13, YG11/ C3, C1

roze/lippen: RV29, RV25, RV23, RV21

groen: G28, YG17, YG13, YG11

blauw: C7, B29, B26, B24, B23, B21

oranje: YR07, YR04, Y38, Y35

yellow: Y8

Als afwerking heb ik haar ogen en haar lippen voorzien met Glossy Accents voor een mooie glans.

At the beach!

Hi there, Krafty Friends!

Today I'm the hostess at the Wonderful Wednesday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

And as usual, it's always Anything Goes.

I really enjoyed the last release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, actually, I love all the summer stamps. It's my favorite season of the year and I think it's the most colourful one too!

I used "Sandy toes" and "At the beach" background stamp.

I've coloured the scene with my favorite colour medium, Copic Markers. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Crafter's Companion Neenah cardstock. I love the smooth texture for a better and easier blending. On the beach I've added some white dots with my Sharpie pen over the black wave lines.

It's already day 6 of our Kraftin' Kimmie peeks! It goes so fast!

Today we are previewing an elegant new set of images and sentiments by artist, Becky Pearce! This new  clear set is called LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!

And I just love the bigger words in this set, the font is amazing!!

I thought it might be cool if I could do something in rainbow colours with this one.

I coloured them with my Copic markers:

red: R59, 29, 24, 22

orange: YR07, 04, Y17

yellow: Y17, Y15, Y11

green: YG09, 06, 03, 00

light blue: B05, 02, 00, 000

dark blue: B29, 26, 23, 21

After that I embossed the word "Sparkle" with purple glitter embossingpowder. If it say sparkle, the card need to sparkle!

Krafty peeks day 5: Fancy Flamingos!

Krafty peeks day 4: At the beach!

First off, we have a fabulous new background stamp that will go with all your summer creations!! You can use it on it's own as the focal point of your design or combine it with other splish-splashy images!! This new clear set is called AT THE BEACH!

I stamped this image with Memento Desert Sand and coloured them in with my Copic markers using the no lines technique. I wanted to colour a sunset background this time so I googled a sunset and coloured it like that.

Krafty peeks day 3: Floatin' Fiona!

Welcome to day 3 Krafty Peeks for our fabulous new June release of clear stamps!! 

The fabulous new stamp set that we are all previewing today is called FLOATIN' FIONA! This gal is relaxing at the beach and waiting for her cabana boy!! This 4x4 clear stamp set comes with the fun main image PLUS five fun coordinating sentiments!

I just stamped the image with Memento Dessert Sand on Neenah cardstock by Crafter's Companion and coloured the image in with my Copic markers. I also paperpieced the bathsuit.
